It rained hard last night...i didnt think it rained hard enough to flood most of the city.

Damn,
That's a shame, I worked for a restoration company and dealt with numerous mess's like that. Mold behind the walls is not your friend. Used to have to cut out sheetrock 4 feet from the floor upwards.

Yeh I used to think the snorkel kit my brother installed on his jeep was overkill .My basement flooded last year here so now we sand bag the storm sewers to slow down the flow. My backyard today has about 5" of standing water in it and I don't ,in my 58 years on this planet ever remember it raining this much(well , except for the one summer when I decided to try and race my Road Runner in the Norwalk points program-then it rained EVERY Saturday !). Sorry to see your mess.......I can relate
