Floods locally

The dam is, but the county took down the Dam Store, so they could keep it from going in the river. The family lost everything when their house went in, but they did manage to get equipment and memorabilia out of the store.

Yeah, I read about that yesterday. I guess the river got somewhere between 10-15 feet of the store before they tore it down, according to what I read either in the Strib or on MPR (I don’t recall which it was), but thankfully the neighbors helped them empty the place out first.

But you gotta admit one thing: They sure as hell knew how to build dams Back In The Day!!!
