My son just bought a house at Innerarity Point. Also on Saturdays there is a group of car guys gather at the Hardees on Hwy 98 and show off their cars. I have been a couple of times and enjoyed it. You should check it out.

My Duster was originally purchased new in Fla in the Gainesville area. Is anyone familiar with this dealership?

What year did you buy it? I still have my original window sticker and sales docs for my first 1973 Duster. Bought it in August 1973. The dealership in Gainesville was Hawes Chrysler-Plymouth. Wasn't Brasington the Cadillac/Olds dealer?

My second 1973 Duster is moving with me and my wife to Palm Bay next summer. I'm already a member of Mopars of Brevard.

I bought it from the second owner, the original owner purchased it new in Florida, in the Gainesville area..that plate was on the front of the car. I am curious if that dealership was the one it was purchased from and if it is still in business.
 
Mr Brasington died several years ago. The Cadillac dealership in Gainesville is now owned by someone else.
A new Duster bought in Gainesville in 1973 would have been purchased from Hawes. I have searched for a Hawes plate for my car.

ANYONE OUT THERE NEAR SARASOTA? THERE IS HARDLY ANYTHING OVER HERE. I'VE GOT A 68 DART GT I AM WORKING ON AND WOULD APPRECIATE HAVING SOMEONE NEARBY TO CONSULT WHILE WORKING ON MY CAR. THANKS ALOT. BRIAN
