i do not have a manual, and was wondering what should i torque the converter bolts to, as well as the flywheel bolts?

thanks,
daryl

The manual says 55 ft lbs for the flexplate to crank and 270 in lbs for the convertor. But thats for a stock convertor with the 5/16" bolts. If you have a performance convertor you might have the 7/16" bolts. If you have a Mopar Performance convertor you might want to give John Cambridge a call and see what Mopar torque specs are for thoses.

how do i get in contact with him. it is the mopar 175K that uses the stock flexplate, and the 5/16 bolts. i just replaced all of the bolts while i was in there with some good ones.

John is a member of this board and he is also the parts manager at Olsen Dodge. You can email him at [email protected] or call him at 1-800-397-8401 and ask for the parts department. I think he's also listed in the vendors section.
