Greetings all,
I’ve researched many threads on this forum, lots of great insight. I have a 1968 Dodge Dart, 340 (original 273), manual, and 7.24 rear end. Future plans are stroked 400 (stock BB sitting on the stand), tubular K-Mbr, new rear end, renewed front stock suspension, beefed up transmission, relocated leafs (have the Calvert system) and eventually subframe connectors, maybe a mini-tub. Pretty excited about getting started, but just collecting parts for right now as the car is drivable. Engine has been my focus right now, can’t decide 100% on 451 or 470, as it will mainly be a street car, 451 is leading that race, although the 470 is awfully tempting.
Again, I appreciate all those with a vast knowledge of Mopar and a-body cars and their willingness to share that knowledge and teach others. Looking forward to further research, discussions and antics. Take care all.
