For sale is a pair of identical Carter AFB carbs, #3253 S AL-1, number shows these are correct for a 1966 383 4bbl engine. I bought these to run on a dual quad set-up I used to have, no longer need the carbs. These would be great cores for a rebuild, both carbs move freely and are in nice shape, not all corroded up. One carb is missing the choke pull-off, the other has one but the original linkage for it is missing, there is also a small section of linkage missing on the left side of one too for the choke. One carb has had extra holes drilled in the base, probably to mount it on a AVS intake? Not a big deal and doesn't affect anything. Also on one of the carbs, the little tab that sticks up is missing where the air cleaner goes (see pic) also not a big deal.
