Yes, I have the carb. I know i told you I would post some pics but the thing is so nasty I want to clean it (I have actually been doing that today). I am of the opinion that the carb was painted black at one time but it is starting to clean up.

I'm pretty sure AX 48 is 3.23 Sure Grip rear end.

I have X1 on my 68 340-S, don't know what that is either. I do have tinted glass. Option code 521 is all window tinted, 523 is all window clear when ordering an A/C car and you don't want tinted windows. ??

Formula check out the barracuda section on e-bay.There is a 1968 fastback pretty much the same version of yours except its a 318 model and they want 20k.Anything that has been on e-bay lately that is a original 340 or 383s car has brought close to 20k.I think you would get what you are asking or close if you had it on e-bay.If you set your reserve at 18 and it doesnt sell it will only cost you 10 bucks ,something to think about anyway!
