Lost my workspace so I am gauging interest in selling or trading my 1971 Duster. It has 60,000 original miles on it. Ex-military car from New Mexico. Originally a slant six, auto trans. Green exterior, black interior. No rust at all. Only slight body damage. I purchased the running car 2 years ago and started the restoration. I have detailed pics of the disassembly process which should make putting the car back together pretty easy, and I have a listing of what has been spent on the car thus far. I have taken the time and spent the money to do things correctly, no shortcuts. Car is missing back glass, windshield, gas tank and tail light panel. Was going to build as a small block car. I have around $5500 invested at this point. Car will be sold/traded without engine assembly, however I do have a good 5.9 Magnum block that has been hot tanked and has new cam bearings and freeze plugs and an uncracked set of Magnum heads that I would be willing to let go with the car. Car is located in Maroa, IL. Here is a list of some of what has been done thus far, but this is definitely not all inclusive:

Car completely disassembled and taken down to the body shell only
Complete underside coated with POR 15
Interior sprayed with POR 15 and gloss black
Engine bay removed of excess clips and screws, holes welded over, bay refinished
K frame sandblasted and powdercoated
Control arms sandblasted and powdercoated
Converted to front disc brake setup from a newer A body
New front brake lines and distribution block
All new wagner brake parts
New bearing and seals
All new moog front end parts-everything replaced with new
Steering converted to manual
New battery and battery tray
Engine wiring harness converted to be used with V8
New KYB shocks-front and rear
New rear espo leaf springs
New spring hangers with moog bushings
8 ¾ rear end housing sandblasted and powdercoated
489 rear end center section (disassembled and missing the carrier or spool)
New 3.91 gear set
All new center section bearings and seals
All new rear brakes (drums, shoes, backing plates and hardware)
Used Dennys Heavy Duty Driveshaft
Fully Rebuilt 727 transmission, built with all heavy duty parts.
14” Rallye wheels, sandblasted and powdercoated
New BF Goodrich ta radials 14”

Looking for $4000 or trade for a running Dodge truck of equal value
