You can always go to a Rockwell, good luck with that! If you can somehow break a Rockwell you just need to stay away from cars.

Ok, well I really don't want to sink a ton of money in the rearend. I do t plan on have alot of HP, just found a nice/clean/tight 9 inch for cheap and figured I would ask some pros how hard the swap would be. So I'm on the lookout for a 8 1/4 or 8 3/4. Thanks guys for the info.
well if that's the case I'd hunt for a 8.25. They are cheap to buy, plentiful, easy to install, and light weight to boot. There, problem solved! :-D
 
I look at it as if I were to put a Ferd engine into my Mopar:angry7:
8 3/4 all the way!!! I got my A-body 8 3/4 complete with 2.76 open gears for $300.:cheers:
 
Well I might not need a rearend after all because there may be a little Giller1 on the way..
