Fourteen inch trim ring "tabs", What are the differences?

I have some trim rings that only grab onto the rim in 4 places (4 large tabs), and some others that have more than 4 tabs. Is either version factory or would one be aftermarket? How many changes did Chrysler make with respect to attaching the trim rings? Thank you.

are the holes for the valve stems round or oval on your 4 tab rings?

The trim ring with 15 tabs has an oval opening for valve stem (left fotos), but it is kind of shaped liked a medication capsule. The four tab trim ring has an oval shaped valve stem opening (right fotos), but more like a flying saucer (UFO). I would not call either one of them round exactly.
