Trying not to do any side work for a while kinda burnt out and still working part time.
Might be interested in a year I should have my old truck restored by then.

I hear ya about being burnt out; I don't do much mechanical work anymore, and I too am still working part time. I'm not really burnt out; I just haven't been able to get motivated this year to do much of anything; I think it must be a SabbathYear for me,lol. We'll see what happens for me in January.....
Thanks for declining because I didn't much feel like pulling the powertrain anyway,which needs refreshing too.

I been real lazy hard to get me motivated, Scamp should of been done a long time ago and the 29 truck should be about half way by now. But I guess I'm in no hurry.
 
We're practically twins,lol. But I've been stuck in this rut for over two summers.

I guess there is a reason God says to not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, and 2 can put ten times as many to flight as one, and we need to work in pairs in case one falters, etc.
I have been looking for a study-Buddy, since the last one abandoned me when I mention Enclosed Earth System. There are not very many like me around. In 6 plus years, I have only found six, and only 4 are on the same part of the curve as me, and of those, only two are locals.
But it seems to me that the more I understand my reason for being here,and what God expects of me, the less I need or want a study-Buddy, so IDK, I don't mind being alone anymore.

I have to many kids and grand kids that keep me busy enough but when I'm alone I vegetate.
Not a big fan of TV so I get on here and see what's happening and of course you know me My mouth is faster than my thoughts. lol
 
I gave you a like because
my mouth gets me into so much trouble; or rather my sluggish brain does. I have more or less stopped trying to be funny, everywhere except FABO. All too often what sounds funny in my head, ain't nearly as funny out loud; and once spoken, those words are impossible to reel back in.
Christmas has been cancelled at our house this year; there are 13 of us now, 3 over the limit; and nobody was ok with a coin-toss. That's a joke,lol. I mean the coin-toss part. Nobody is taking any chances, as after all, I am the garbage man, handling roughly 5000 or more pounds of it per week, none of it sanitized.
And no TV here, so, you'll be hearing me around,lol.

Your a smart man AJ I learned a lot of engine stuff from ya and you remember all the guys giving me crap because I didn't know how to build an engine or even be on a computer talking to people. I got **** on a lot but you helped me and I thank you for that.
I'm still a moron but smarter. lol

That makes 2 on the way and ??? crap I think 17 on the ground now.

Plug is ready to make a mold from I decided to not just make one in case I screw up and have to do it again or someone wants one I will be able to reproduce it and smooth enough to paint it whatever color I want or smooth enough to glue fabric on.
My dad had a fiberglass shop and made dune buggy's and a lot of stuff and just trying to do what he did to make things.
Am I doing it right I don't know time will tell.

Be nice to have a chop gun. I think that's what they are called.

Got the mold off the plug today and rough but inside is good and that's what counts.

Been busy around here and not much time to spend on my center console but here is the molds for the center console glove box and cup holder. Yea only one cup holder everyone else is just gonna hang on to there drinks but I got mine. lol

and that's what I got so far. Was going to make the center console into a mold and make some more but screw that one is enough I'm still itchy just doing this. lol
 
Super cool fiberglass work Fred! And as you well know the Glen Fargo is a smooth choice! That guy is talented. Let me know when you want to road trip down and see your Boy. You always got a place to crash and a meal and a toddy! Jodi says to tell ya hello.

The hard part is cutting and polishing the stainless steel top and I think you would be the best man for that.
I'll make some good steaks when you get here. lol
