The rear(?) bearing started to howl on what looks like the model correct alternator on our '64 /6 Dart. At least it looks like the alternator illustrated in the FSM. It reliably produces 14.6 volts through the voltage regulator. I didn't want to mess with it, so I bought a new alternator from NAPA. They didn't have a core charge so the old one is taking up room on my work bench. You can have it for the stamp. Ships from 98418, weighs in at 14.5 lbs., and the box is 10.5" x 7.75" x 7.75".
