Moving overseas and need to get rid of a few things. I'm really hoping someone in the Northern Virginia area can come and pick it all up. Everything is free except the items below.
452 heads from a 77 440 - $60
8 3/4 ring pinion set / 2.76 ratio - $40
3 speed manual trans - $100
Edelbrock 440 valve covers - $10
Chrome 440 valve covers - $10

The crankshaft is cast and out of a 77 440. Would be great for a budget 452 stroker. Most the parts are from a 74 duster. Ideally I'd like to give all these parts to one individual who can come pick up in Quantico VA.

I should also mention the Comp cam is brand new but chipped. a machine shop may be able to repair but I haven't checked. It's for a big block.

Whats the AFB?

Jake

Looks like a carter carb on the ground as well as a thermoquad. What are the numbers on them?

Jake
The large carb is a Carter Thermoquad, Likely off the same 77 440 engine. The only numbers I see on it 2141. The smaller one is also a Carter with 1862 stamped on it. No history on that one though.

It's for a 489 case. You can easily tell by the tapered pinion. 741 and 742's had a straight cut pinion. Oh yeah, It's also an early 10 spline unit. Probably from a 69 or early 70

Any pitting on the gears anywhere? Looks ok in the pics but an up close look always tells for sure. If there's no pitting I'd take them for your price plus shipping if you'll throw in the Carter AFB in the same box. They should all fit into a USPS flat rate box. Thanks, Tracy
