how the heck do you get the plug out of a brand new melling oil pump to change the spring?

drill a hole and use a screw and pull it out. Or you can put a .040 shim between the plug and cotter pin and it will raise your oil pressure 10-15 lbs same as changing the spring.Why are you changing the spring?are you using a HV pump or reg pump?

actually,,,I bought the hv pump and am changing it to high pressure for the stroker,and unless you're my wife you don't have a clue as to what I've paid for a thing
