From Me and my '72 Swinger!

Hello A-Body forum! Just joined here since I got my very first car, a 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger with a 225 1bbl under the hood, and I'm going to need some advice on fixing it up; hasn't really ran since the original owner passed away and until I was able to buy it. It 's up and driving now after adjusting points and fixing the wiring. I've had a lot of help from my dad and my Auto Tech class (1 of 2 girls in there!), but I can't go wrong with specific advice. Hope to be posting soon! In the meantime, where's a few pics of my car:

(Some work has been done already here; like the second coil is gone, and the air filter was put back on)

Definitely will be posting more soon when I can get it down to the shop and get some real work done!

First off welcome to the club! Second that car looks like it's in pretty good shape. I would look at ditching the points and going to an electronic ignition. You may also want to lookup/follow slantsixdan's advice on the fuel upgrade.

Thanks y'all! I do plan on putting in an electronic ignition in there as soon as I get a more urgent issue fixed (U-joint need replacing).
