From paint roller to rattle can paint job

finally got the 64 looking decent, took most of the gt trim off and sold it to fund my rattle can project, and front sway bar. 20 cans of primer and 20 cans of color paint. Just need to buff and wax!

Lol, there is a secret, it's in the spray tips I used for the color coat the spray tips that are used for guitar painting comes out thin and wide pattern almost like a spray gun. Then the primer I use a graffiti fat tip which sprays a huge thick pattern, and of course I wet sand after primer and after paint.

I think you missed a couple of spots.......called the hood and right fender! :lol:
 
Looks good. Nothing wrong with rattle can. IMHO, you do need a paint can with a fan spray pattern, and many brand name paints have those spray tips. You can get decent quality from the more traditional round spray patterns, but the fan pattern cans are best and more like a paint spray gun. Take your time and go for good coverage and overlap. Plus, Eastwood has a rattle can 2K clear that can give excellent results.
