front inner fender thickness

I'm looking at doing a little patch repair on the inner fenders and a few spots on the top were the fender bolts to it and was wondering if anyone could tell me what gauge of steel I need since I don't have a gauge tool (yet) and my car is at a friends house.

I checked AMD. They have inner fender patch kits. That might be easier for you.
