What is everyone running in front? 1974 duster with stock Rallye 6.5 wide. I have 245/60r15 on rear. Thanks

I just bought 225/60-15’s for a 15x7 Rallye. 1973 Duster

275/35/18’s on 18x9’s. Would look weird with those bitty little 245’s out back though. :p

225/60/15 is about the limit up front with a 15” without getting into some fender mods. Are we talking BBP or SBP and what is the backspace on those Rallye’s?

Everyday driving. Stock 15s backspacing. I’m thinking around 4 or 4.5?

If I'm not mistaken a 15x6.5 was a B-body wheel. Should be able to run a 225/60-15 but they only come in BFG. If you want another brand you will have to do a 215/60-15

215/65-15 sport touring tires may be a happy choice for that, especially for daily usage for a balance of ride and handling.

Any chance these would fit on the back of a 71 Dart?

Yes, but you’d need a 1/2” spring offset and possibly some trimming/rolling of the quarter lip depending on the particular clearances on your car. And the backspace would have to be pretty close to perfect for whatever rear axle you have. But yes, it can and has been done.

You can shoot me a PM with your specifics if you want and I can give you some recommendations better matched to your car in particular. So we don’t side track this thread about 15” fronts.

Been super busy haven’t had time to mess with the tires. I just got the 245/60r15 mounted in back. I’m still stuck on front size. Wanting mastercraft probably. Would 215/65r15 or 205/65r15 look good? 74 duster 6.5 Rallye

Either should look fine. The 215/65/15 will be 26" tall, which will probably be as tall as you can go and you may need to do some minor trimming at the front or rear corners (or both) of the wheel openings.

The 205/65/15 would be 25.5" tall, which would be about the same as a 225/60/15. I ran 225/60/15's on my '74 Duster with cop wheels before I upgraded to 18's, you can see the bottom corners are pretty tight on the tires even with those.
