front wheel problems

hi guys, i found that when i stick my SBP cragars onto my front wheels, the car shakes when i try to stop. upon inspection, i noticed that the teeth-like things on the outer edge of the drum are digging into the rims and are not allowing the rim to fit on all the way. anyone else have this problem? i was thinking of sticking a few wide washers on the studs before putting the rims back on. good idea? bad idea? lemme know what you think boys.

I have had the fins on drums interfere before. If it isn't bad I have ground down the fins to make the wheels clear. If it would take alot of grinding you could use a wheel spacer, but I would not use washers.

Buy some disc brake spacers they come in different width's
