i have a 67 dart with all the glass out. i have the trim from a 70 dart that i want to install. i have a few questions.

1.) do you guys know of a reliable source for front and rear window gaskets?
2.) place to buy quality repo trim clips for front and rear?
3.) any instal instructions for front and rear window trim clips?

i am getting ready to put the glass back in the car after the paint job and any help you guys/gals can provide would be much appreciated.

Hardins sold out to Classic, you can get them from them are Dante's, they shouldn't be hard to get. Good Luck with it. Ronnie

thanks for the leads guys.

does anyone have instruction on how to install the clips? never done this before. any tricks or things to look out for?

i bought stuff from YearOne. Make sure that the clips are in place BEFORE putting the windshield in.

Well one vote for Steele, and Im glad their stuff worked for someone... I ordered a rear window gasket from them (as they were the only ones that had it) and it was junk... didnt fit at all... Had to fight with them to get my money back.. and as far as I know Adam is right, the front and rear rubbers are not available... Probably going to have to hit the swap meets to find them.. as for the clips the 67 took a rubber with a lock strip in it.. no chrome moldings... (again if Im wrong someone jump in and correct me) so you will have to drill the holes for the molding clips.. but the clips are readily available AMD, RT Specialties, Vans Auto are some of the many places that carry the clips...

my bad.. there were two votes for Steele LOL (none from me.. just to avoid confusion LOL)

steel rubber has both front and rear in stock. are they good or are they junk. they are 135 ea. for that price i hope they are decent pieces.

call them send org for right fit if your,s are some what good they will copy that,s how i got the right seal final for the diprail and how everyone else get now

I hate to disagree with the others here.. but the rear seal for my Dart was horrible from Steele.. but that was just me..

sent a good org to fix this
Steel will check into it with a good copy
I did this with the roof drip rail seals metro one suck
steel keep my org to make what you buy today from them
they are a very good copy of that seal
i have not replace the back seal on my 70 dart
steel fix this one for us with me a few years back now

I can post a drawing of the clip layout for your windshield if someone else doesn't ( I'll have to hunt it ).I dont have the same for your rear window. There isn't really a rocket science to it though. 2 inches from corners and 2 inches from joins in the trim.
The depth of the bed/fence on your 67 may conflict with the height of the clips you buy.
I had to grind about 1/16 to 3/32 off the bottom of all the clips used on the rear glass of my 67.

there was a problem with finding one for my F/B barracuda 8 months ago. It seems the people who were making them just stopped doing it and closed business. This effected several car/ truck models of window gaskets. I called everyone I could find and all had the exact same response (people making them out of business and someone is tooling them, should be available again in 6 to 8 weeks) with that said a few months later they started to reappear again. Around December I started to see them again. I purchased from Van's first place I saw that advertised they were back in stock. it was of poor fit, not terrible and usable for sure, but required some finesse to get the window in.

With that all said I believe where ever you get them from only 1 maybe 2 places really make them the rest sell them and it becomes a matter of price and customer service for said price. my 2 cents worth.....
