have you dropped the tank yet? I think your car is an "O" ring that fits around the tube-- not the larger gasket that fits the tank that went to later style cars.




SSDan-- might know of a source-- I'm guessing Andy Bernbaum or an Aussie company like blue star spares.

These early cars used an O-ring unlike '63 and later that used a donut like grommet. Best bet is an Oring supply house. take your old one if at all possible to match.
 
tried to match o ring with no luck collectors auto supply claims to have plenty of them for 10.00 going to give them a try asap if anyone else is looking their number is 1-800-414-4462 thanks sandy
 
As I stated in my PM to you the other day, ram45red, the factory parts catalogues list same part number for '61 and '63 A-body filler neck to tank grommet, and it is available from the source I pointed you at.
