I need a fuel pump pushrod for a 440. I'm removing the crappy, noisy electric fuel pump from my car, and want to use the mechanical pump but I don't have a pushrod.
Engine is a 1972 440.

Thanks in advance!:glasses2:

You can get a new at an autoparts store or mancini's or summit racing or jegs

I checked NAPA yesterday in Stratford and the guy said he can't get one for me. In fact, he told me the stock mech fuel pump was in his Washington state store, and it was $45 plus about $10 to ship it to his store. I told him I'll look elsewhere.
I got a pushrod from a guy on FABO, but it looks like it was used as a punch at one time.

I tryed my local Dodge dealer...no go
Tryed NAPA here..no go
Tryed an engine shop...no go.

Got one from Mancini's.....they seem to be getting harder to get.

same with the distributor drive gear I needed...

I have a good used one if you choose to go that route.
Thanks, Mark
Thanks brutha. I ended ordering a fuel pump & the pushrod from Autozone on line, of all places.
I have a 1/2" tank pick up in the car now. I guess I'll have to swap that out for a 3/8" one, no? I plan to run 3/8" aluminum fuel line to the pump. Anyone know if there is a reducer from 1/2" to 3/8" available somewhere?

Thanks for the help.
