Drove my duster the other day and the electric fuel pump died. I have a new Mallory 70 series pump. My question is does everyone think that would be a suffient pump? Motor is a street 340 with 10.5-1 compression stock x heads. 650 holley DP. Please let me know what you think. All help would be appreciated. Matt

Both the pump that went down is electric and the one that I will replace it with is or will be an electric pump as it is set up for that. I do not know the gallons per four of a stock pump. The mallory 70 series pump is a 70 GPH pump that is pre set at 6psi. or pressure. I believe that the holley pump is 100 or 110 GPH. Just wondering if the Mallory pump would be O.K.?

My gas gauge reads 0. I am trying to check fuel tank sending unit. Mine has only one connection. Do I have a ground wire missing or what? Need help.

your fuel sending unit only has one wire.... it's probably worn out... time to order up a new sending unit... or your fuel gauge wore out... but it's a good idea to change the sending unit, as the the filter is probably deteriorated if it is stock...
