I am putting a built 360 in my dart sport in a month or so and i was wondering what to do about getting fuel to the carb! I have a holley 650 double pumper and a mechanical fuel pump off a 318 (not sure if its stock)! can i use this pump? or should i get a high vol. mechanical fuel pump or even a whole new electric fuel system?

I have not had a problem with stock pumps feeding mild HP engines. (400 HP) And this is the bassis of what we would need to know if your system needs an upgrade.

How much power is the engine making and also, are you drag racing?

the engine is being built to put out 425hp! im not planning on raceing any time soon! also the pump i took of my 318 looks aftermarket but im not sure i will see if there are any numbers on it when i get it cleaned up!

Just remember what a carb can handle. Make sure the flow rates are high enuff over a stock units and you'll be fine. Otherwise, it's time for a regulator.
