As a young (very young) kid I dumped a case of shotgun shell power in to a hole, covered it with the shot made a paper fuse as new was all set to “touch it off” when mom found out what I was about to do. Yep, it never happened.
 
I went down to the local hobby store and bought some salt peter and sulpher. Ground up some charcoal and made a dent in the driveway that was hard to explain! The good old days!

Not too long ago I decided to see what would happen if I shot a blank .22 ramset into the driveway

I must admit, I was impressed
 
Used Hilti, ramset and other powder driven pins. Had ricochets, exploding concrete. Most ricochets were from driving the pin into perlins or gurts. Good thing you can’t use them on the job site any more. Junk in my book.
