To see which hand fills up with, of course!
Did anybody else ever think it was rather strange that the professor could practically build a nuclear reactor with what was on the island, but could not figure out how to patch a few holes in a wooden hulled boat?

"WE WERE ON A BREAK!"
that means she is single but he is not, correct?"WE WERE ON A BREAK!"
I get the point, it's stupid to be burning fossil fuels to charge batteries. But there is no way that a generator that size burns 12 GALLONS OF DIESEL PER HOUR! Someone's exaggerating a little.
Your right, according to google, it used a little more (still at half use)I get the point, it's stupid to be burning fossil fuels to charge batteries. But there is no way that a generator that size burns 12 GALLONS OF DIESEL PER HOUR! Someone's exaggerating a little.
We all pick our poisons.
Yup, but most of us are not ballsy enough to preach against one while using the otherWe all pick our poisons.
More load on generator more diesel fuelView attachment 1716349994
you know, i do see ONE flow in the logic...there are two plugs there
which means you could potentially charge 2 cars in 3 hours to bring it up to 11.2 miles to the gallon
of course, i dont know how that would impact load
yes, but how much ?More load on generator more diesel fuel
Used lots of smaller generators on construction sites, usually gas, but they all acted the same way. As the load came on the throttle opened more until total load was achieved then the tools would slow down and someone would have to shut their tool off. Smaller generators are hard on power toolsyes, but how much ?
there has got to be some parasitic load on there just to keep things rolling no?
i guess what i am trying to say is, one of those generators charging two cars would use less fuel then two of the exact same generators charging two individual cars
hypothetically
i think
Only problem is, that is not a 350KW generator. They are the size of a small garage and you could probably run 20 houses off of one. Kohler 350REOZDD 350 kW diesel generator:View attachment 1716349994
