Garage Art

-
A friend came over yesterday to visit a while. He saw the grand daughter's
Lightening McQueen car and ask how old she was. Said he had a pedal
car with stick steering he needed to get rid of. He came back today
for me to put brake pads on the front of his vehicle and brought the
pedal car. It was a display car back when Darrel Waltrip started racing
for Tide. He said he didn't think these were for sale back then...only used
as display in the stores. Regardless, it's quite a gift.

When Sammie is too big for it, it will be hung from the ceiling.

Have you guys and gals ever seen one of these? This was my first time
to lay eyes on one.

Very nice. The Big Boy menu threw me off but then I realized you're not far from Cincinnati.

Added the K & N and the K-1 Kerosene signs

I like how you've grouped and showcased your treasures. I have a lot of the same items, but my wife calls it all crap...it must all be in the presentation.

Picked up some new "old" stuff today and yesterday.

Got this Chrysler Charger III at the Indy meet over the weekend.

So much cool stuff, unfortunately for me my shop is a working shop, i grind, cut, chop , weld, sand, paint etc. all this cool stuff would bd great to look at while im in there working but it would be dusty an dirty before too long.

I do have another 2 car garage attached to my house with a 4 lane slot car track, and all my old tin signs , and die cast models . Eventually i want to put a black n grey checkered floor, and repaint the walls a better appealing color. When the cuda is finished i will park it in there with my mustang gt.

I love the man caves , i guess i can say i have 2. My working shop, and the house garage with all my stuff on display.

Tony i wish mine was as decked out as yours. Kudos man kudos.

Thanks Matt!

I'm about out of room:tard:

I had that Charger III Amaze-A-Matics car when I was a lad!
And the SSP drag racing set, too!

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZKmoicYhNo"]Kenner SSP Time Trial tv commercial 1975 - YouTube[/ame] (only I'm sure mine was before 1975...I would've been too old for them by then :-()

And they apparently did a Daytona/Superbird model SSP, too:
