have a 1974 duster had been sitting awhile so put new tank in, the tank as a 90 degree tube, and a straight tube ,on the sender unit ,sticking out of the tank .which one do i put the gas line on that goes to pump and feeds the carb ? do i plug the other one ? do you have to prime the pump ? thanks

The larger of the two (which will be the 90 Deg one) will be fuel to the pump. The smaller 1/4" straight one is fuel/vapor return from the fuel filter at the engine, if it and the return line are still there. This is a feature you want to keep.
