I need the big nut that attaches the pitman arm to the gear box

I can get a new pitman arm but it wont come with the big nut to hold it on.

I don't think I can use a regular hardware store nut for a steering parts.

if anyone has one let me know :)

I saw those on Ebay or somewhere like that recently.
If I can find it again I can post it, just in case Sedanman doesn't have it.

I dont have a calibrated eyeball but if I guess correctly that is the smaller of the 2 possibilities. 3/4 fine thread. Nut & lock washer from hardware store will work, if they have it.

Diameter of the output shaft is approx 1.250" on the 73+ PS boxes....

72 and older is smaller....

Oops, I see you have a manual steering box...doh'

Go to a farm implement dealer, Case IH, John deer. I bet they have one that will work. Is the Case IH dealer still just east of Pueblo? FYI good place for other bolts also.
