Anyone have a gear vendors in their early A? If so do you like it? And how was the fit? Any tunnel issues with install? Pictures always a plus.

I have fitted one in on a car we are building. We had to beat the tunnel into submission. I think they are 7" in diameter ?????. Its going to be one short driveshaft. My guess the car will be drivable this summer. Was hoping for MATS, but life got in the way,

That was the other thing I was wondering. The driveshaft being so short and the angle.
That sucks about the tunnel. Any pictures?

Go with a 2004R. It's cheaper and won't require the super short drive shaft.
My car is a 69 Barracuda....

Not an early "A" but a Duster. You can see how minor and how simple the tunnel modification was (before
and after welding). Just the part behind the shifter hump was done to accommodate the overdrive unit.

Picture showing drive shaft length which in this case is at least an inch shorter than it would
normally be due to the rearend housing being moved ahead in this application.

Always have your u-joints pre-sniffed to eliminate potential problems in the future.
