Hi there,We will likely will be building a 6.1L, for blown fuel class. Fuel to be methanol-only, using an 8-71 blower. Initially about 5 lbs. boost, to make 200 mph.(first goal). If all goes well, will step it up to say 20lbs. manifold. Any and all skilled info, to contribute is appreciated. Thanks, ateam.:burnout:
 
What kind of help do you need? I built a procharged 3rd gen that makes 782 at the tires all day with meth injection.

>>That's great. "Daytona" looks like an 671/871 ? Head sealing, amount of boost, boosted air temp, cam spec's, block fill, studs all around, girdle, COP or mag, wet sump, intake manifold, adjustable rockers/who's,fuel,build thread of your motor and anything else I might have missed. 8:71 9.5 compression with a Manley kit. Don't have cam specss anymore but I had pwr spec it. No fill in the block. Stock main caps with rap studs. Stage 3 ported PWR head with arp studs. Indy mod man intake, FAST XFI injection, water meth injected under the blower hat to cool the blower and air charge. Made 780 to the tires at 10.2 psi.
 
The pro charged car was a 392 stroker, Manley rotating assembly, stage 3 pwr heads, comp cam custom grind I wanna say .580 intake 232 @.050 .595 exhaust 228 @.050 on a 113 centerline, billet main caps, arp studs, Ross Pistons 7.5:1 compression, stock 6.1 intake manifold, arp head studs, lockwire copper gaskets, water/meth after 10 psi made 783hp 760 tqe at the tires at 18 psi stock 06 art computer tuned with a Diablo.
 
Thanks, COP ignition for both ? I'm told even with MSD coils, wont cut it for Metanol, at any real boost . ateam
