Hey team
ACEs came out with this Standalone System for HEMIs = JACKPOT
Jackpot HEMI EFI System

this System is known in the LS world and afte some growing pains , developed into a good option compared to HOLLEY Terminator X.

I have it myself on a LS build and they are constantly improving the SW, especially the latest version of the Tuning SW is decent
the Harness and its quality is minimum the same as the Holley product the ECU is compact and well build.

the Price point is very good.
For the LS they also have trans control version for several Automatic transmissions, so i expect the same to come for the comon Gen3 Hemi Auto trans setups.

Thanks!

No VVT though, and no mention if it can support SRV. And no support for the '08 and older?

Self tune only works for stock to mild builds which isn't the typical build that would lock out VVT.

Self tune is a buzz word.

All use it holley haltech fitech you name it if you get any EFI system and you trust in that you will be disappointed.

You need to tune all this setups

They self adjusting certain parameters but you have to give it a base map and a starting point.
And that is up to you.

It will start right up and give you immediate readings that you should tweak.
Once at 160* the learning begins , but it learns based on the "base" you gave it.

Ive got a buddy who is getting a kit from them they sponsor him. Ive been working with him trying to help him get ready for his build we sourced a 2011 hemi and aces is providing everything else to him. He recently did a tbi install on his dart 4 door and he loves it has two step and launch control, i myself have the killshot sytem not installed yet engines getting rebuilt as we speak( sitting in my shop (waiting for me to finish moving to get back at it now my parts are here). The build quality on aces units are pretty nice he has had no issues with his setup his buddy did an install on his mustang using a tbi setup from aces and had some issues but after they looked into it turned out to be a engine issue not an aces issue. Locking out the phaser is an easy task and most aftermarket cams require a lockout or a limiter either way. The mds was a waste of time from the start so deleting that is a must anyway.

Thanks!

The srv can be controlled by a rpm window switch charger guys who swap to 6.4 intakes have been doing it for years. The srv intakes are far superior for sure though cant argue that at all.I swapped from a 5.7 truck intake with srv to a 6.4 truck srv intake and it was a instant difference before tune and after tuning.

Yep. Just an observation. I like to consolidate when possible and really hope I can dodge the window switch on my 5.7 swap.

I agree it would be nice but it is a nice option for power the 6.4 truck manifold is the best stock intake for power more plenum volume and srv ram guys on the dyno saw 40hp over stock 5.7 ram intake. I had a 15 ram R/T i built and got lucky and scored 2 6.4 intakes for 125 from someone local sold one and kept one for myself it was a great simple power adder and would work under a hood better than the 5.7 truck manifold does. If your doing a gen 3 though i know your seeing the dollar signs add up custom grind cam and everything to install, hellcat lifters, psi valve springs retainers and keepers, 3/8 chrome molly pushrods, 1 7/8 long tube headers to 3 1/2 primary, 6.4 manifold, cold air intake the used the hood scoop to feed air to the airbox with a k and n style filter and the tuning i probably was minimum 4 grand in parts i did all the labor myself.

its not cheap , but whoever thinks CORRECT LS Swaps are cheap is mistaken... i have to be honest and it might be a bit cheaper than a HEMI, however i think this harness and ECU for under 1k is a huge help for everybodies Budget.

No custom cam, PSI springs and keepers for me. Just a stock 6.4 non-MDS cam and a set of $75 Mopar springs.

I am using a 6.4 car intake myself. No idea how it compares to a truck intake, but not interested in the work it would take to make a hood fit one. Not saying it isn't possible or worth it, just that I like and have a car intake so I see no reason to go down that road.

Here's my running total:

I still need lifters, gaskets, rings/bearings, FEAD, radiator/fan etc. Current best guess, I will be $5600 when I have it in the car and running. That assumes I can hone the surface rust out of the cylinders and don't need a bore and new pistons. Worst case, I have a second core I bought for $100 that I haven't opened up yet.

Been collecting parts for awhile and prices are way up on some or most of the Holley swap parts (headers are $700+ now).

And that doesn't include the T56 Magnum kit I bought.

What is he going to put the hemi in?

Its not going to be an a body i can tell you that much but cant spoil amymore than ive already said. Hes still got to do his release video and stuff for it. Maybe one day someone will release a 8hp70 controller thats not a grand or more and these swap would be so much easier and better i loved my 8hp70 in my ram i beat it half to death and never had one issue from it. If you could just drop hemi and 8hp70 in and only have to worry about motor mounts exhaust and driveshaft that would be so much nicer.

I didn’t even think about it being a secret, or I wouldn’t have asked. :)

I like the 8HP. The controller might be $1k, but at least there is an option. I know of at least one other option and I think it is 2 to 3 times that. But that one can be set up to work like it is a manual with a clutch so it could be kind of the best of both worlds.

I’m not arguing that a low cost option wouldn’t be good. I wonder if a stock harness and PCM can run the 8HP as a stand alone.

Me and crewcab have discussed it and its something he wants to eventually do i myself would like to slap on in a dakota along with a gen 3 hemi for a nice driver/road course rig. I know the one controller that ive seen is around a grand and isnt bad for what you get. I will say all they guys ive dealth with upgrading them in the 4th gen ram community say using the stock pcm is an absolute pain and are tied to the stock pcm and can only work with stock pcm and tcm that match. The ones who swapped 8hp90s into their trucks had to transfer the entire valve body for it to work.
