Gettin' the ol' girl ready...

for a new coat! I spent most of the day gettin her just right to get a new splash of color. She's going a green like a hunter green. I'm not one of those that knows the paint codes and has to have my car exactly that color. NOthing wrong with that, mind you, just not for me. I'm shooting the base tomorrow A.M. and she should have complete color sometime tomorrow night! Excuse the mess in the garage, we only moved a year ago!

Way to go Lostsheep. Good luck, and remember to give it lots of flash-off time between coats, especially the clearcoat, if you're using it. Most people get antsy and rush the flash times and eventually end up with trapped solvents in the paint job that come back to haunt them later. PHOTOS!

Well, I finally got her done. I changed my mind with the color...wasn't too keen on the green if you know what I mean. I'll post pics as soon as I can. My avatar is an updated pic in the meantime.
