Good luck on the car and keep us posted. Send us some pics when you can!!
'71 Dodge Demon, not a Plymouth Duster. And it looks like it's sitting in pretty good company
The car says Deamond on the back, it looks like a Duster but it is different. Dad said it had the big six motor.
225 slant six......The car says Deamond on the back, it looks like a Duster but it is different. Dad said it had the big six motor.
I'm pretty sure that it says ''Demon'' on the back not ''Deamond''.The car says Deamond on the back, it looks like a Duster but it is different. Dad said it had the big six motor.
this one?
also a duster
And now they have the 'Hellcat', and nobody blinks. Did they not have anything else to worry about in 1971?You may be interested in knowing why the "Demon" only lasted two years.
The Demon fastback was renamed "Dart Sport" in response to Christian groups' complaints about the 'Demon' name and devil-with-pitchfork logo. The high-performance model thus became Dart Sport 340, and 1973 saw styling changes to go along with the name change.
