I have neglected my dart for the last 6 months. Last summer I got a new electric pump and canister filter. I plan on using the stock tank so I have a few questions.

1. I plan on mounting the pump on the inside of the frame rail with a heat shield. Would this be the best location with a stock tank?

2. Would I be able to keep the stock line from the tank to regulator or should I get a new line?

3. I want to use the aero quip line from from the regulator to carburetor. What size line would he recommended?

The engine is a .30 over 360 with a Holley 750 dp or a edlebrock 650 avs. The car is a street car that makes about twenty passes a year.

Sounds like your on the right track, you can use the stock line. Ideally you want the pump lower than the tank so its gravity fed. It doesn't have to work so hard that way. The rear frame rail is a good spot. You didn't say where your mounting the regulator, if your not mounting it under the hood keep it as close to the engine as you can. Run a #6 line to the carb. If your running a holley set your pressure at 6. Edelbrock/Carter set at 5 psi.

Regulator will go on the passenger fender. I run a Holley 90% unless it's chilly and the track is closed.

Would a 8an line be too big?

#6 AN will feed 500 HP. If you dont have pump yet, you might consider in tank as they dont have heating issues or need gravity feed. Pumps like to push, not suck. Easy bolt in tank is now available with pump in tank. PM if you want info. Evan magnummopar.

What's wrong with a mechanical pump? I run one on my 367 at 430plus hp with no issues. It doesn't take much to feed a NA360. If you are on a budget it makes even more sense. Save your money, plumb a 3/8 metal line, before you hit the track. The 5/16 is even enough for most streeters.Maybe get a nice Carter mechanical pump.
You don't say your power level so I'll guess about 400hp. This will require about 400 x .5 =200pounds of fuel per hour, which is 200/6 =33gph or about 120lph. This is not much of a pump requirement. And this is for full load, full throttle operation.
As a streeter you will seldom need that much for more than 2 or 3 or maybe 4 seconds atta time.
33gph is 33/(60 x 60) x 140=1.28 ounces per second, so in 4 seconds you will need 4 x 1.28 = 5.12 ounces. Most or all of that is already in the bowl before you even hit the pedal.
At the track you will need a bit more. 13 seconds would be about 16 ounces. So you will need some to come up the pipe for sure.
