I repainted the eng bay in my 63 yesterday as someone over the years had painted it black. I want the car to look as stock as I can so I painted it red like the car. I am going to my brothers shop today to balance my pistons and rods so I can start to assemble my shortblock real soon. Ron

looks good, i redid mine too when the car was apart, i just did it black, because it was easy, but i have no fender wells either.

whats the plan with the 63? you want it to look stock and run like hell?

Looks great, mine is going to get repainted when I do the rest of the car.

I am very critical of automotive work in my shop,as my guys hear the wrath of how i want things done and why.I have to say it looks very niece, and well done.So two thumbs up,Mrmopartech

Thanks. Yes I like the factory stock look that runs like hell ! It is getting the 440 I am building but it will have the look of a stock 426 Max Wedge car. I am hoping for a mid 11 second driver that I can drive to the track a few times a year with the 3.91's in it and have some fun racing my sons. Ron
