getting the dart ready for pinks 09

I didn't get my truck back from the bodyshop as promised. I hope that they go to Gateway in the St. Louis area. If so, I will go there.
 
More progress!!!! so i got the radiator and fan,pullies,fenders,bumper and a bunch other stuff off the dart to pull the motor tommorow! and then start ripping into the motor and getting the paint started.
 
well motor came out easy... used a crane hah.
But started tearing down the motor now and looking into it.
unfortunatly it has the stock flat top hp pistons so i cant go bigger cams since they dont have valve releifes for piston to valve clearence. but its time to make a large jegs order and take the new amum heads in the get worked on and get started on all this.

well past the point of no return now...
took a sanding block to the body and the motor is officially ripped down.
No turning back.
sept 11 is coming closer everyday haha. woohoo
 
Keep up the good work and good luck. I have ran three points races so far this year and I am in second place 1 point behind the leader. I have been in the money all three times, including a runner-up. I treed my opponent, but I broke out. He was 8 mph faster and I didn't think that I could break out. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!
