Cruisin' Gimli Beach #8 July 11/10 our 8th Annual "Cruisin' Gimli Beach" kicks off at the Matlock Recreation Center, with a pancake breakfast from 9 am - 11 am. From there it's a 25 km scenic lakefront cruise thru cottage country to Downtown Gimli and don't forget to enter our Poker Derby, it is always fun and informational. Once in Gimli, the Show and Shine on Center St. begins with live entertainment, perogie eating contest, our own version of "Car Boom" engine meltdown and an array of draws and contests. Lots of cars, lots of people, lots of prizes and lots of fun. While you are crusing to Gimli, listen to our own FM radio station, Cruz 101.7 FM for great tunes, live updates and info.
