glove box hinge

HELP>>>>>>>>>>>>>took out glove box to paint and now can not remember how hinge goes onto door and dash.Anybody have a picture to help me out?

It only fits one way, the side with 4 screws holes goes to the door.

i got that the 4 screws go towards the door.....how does it connect to the dash frame? ive tried every possible way ,but the door does not line up in the right place. I have been in heater control and radio hell for 2 days and should step back before i start throwing things out of the garage. HA!

Don't know if this will help or not - I took a couple of pictures of my 65 GT's hinge and spring before disassembling it. Maybe it will help you.

Just happened to have taken mine off today, pic 2 is a little tricky as it is a mirror reflection of how it mounts, the arrows are pointing at the same screw and if you look close ya see how the bracket runs with the curve of the dash - hope this is what you were looking for .....

Ace, you can rig on a piano hinge.

it was throwing me off how the part of the hinge folded under to mount to the dash.
