Yeah I bought a nice Thermoquad from John and I'm hoping it'll make my car wheelie like his sons LOL

We will be at MATS next week and everybody is welcome
to hang out with us in the pits! Bring you work clothes as
we are going to be running a 1/2 Dozen cars!

Good Luck.... if I wasn't on the other side of the country I would show top to help

My son will be going Home every night but I will
be staying in the Toter and probably Screaming and
Naked thru the pit (Can't Drink like I Used too be able to) If you
are interested in any of our parts - he will bring them out!

Jon Jr. won the street legal Class with his low 11 Daily Driver
Small block 68 Valiant. He beat the current Division Champion
Sportsman Class Demon in the final with a .011 to his .017.

We we both in the Semi final with our Low 11 Valiants. We had the fastest
cars left in the Eliminator. It was random pairing but the other two competitors WOULD NOT race either one of us and hung out at back of the lanes
which meant we had to race each other. Heck if you have to hide from an
elderly Mid 70's Driver = You should take up another Sport!

I went ahead and defaulted to my boy in disgust and went back to the pits and
let Jon settle up the deal in the final.

We we #4 and #5 Quaifiers out of 61 Cars in Big $10,000 Stock/Superstock Combo that we were one of the name sponsors .

We both had .005 light but fell short in the Eliminations! I was beaten yet again
by the gentleman that beat me at the Winternationals and Arizona Nationals AND
went on to win Both those events! The new COPO cars are deadly consistent with all their electronics and automatic shifters. Some of them run 170 MPH in 1/4 and
it is like trying to catch a Bullet in you Teeth as the Zip by my 120 MPH small block!

I enjoyed meeting many of my Forum Friends for the first time!!

Another NHRA Nationals in 10 Days!!

Pretty sad that others are hiding from you.
Congrats on another successful weekend.

Congrats! If I had to pick one of them to drive it would be a tough choice! Can't beat a 71 duster or demon!

Congratulations for kicking but John, and say hi and congratulations to Jon as well. Unfortunate that those other guys didn’t have the balls to go up against you guys. Wish I could have been there like I had hoped, unfortunately some family stuff came up.

Just saw this thread and you have some good stuff. Yes you are crazy to race at that level, it takes one to know one.
