-
This is on the four door? I have pictures of one on a '68 two door sedan, they're basically the same right?

Do eet!!!

Pretty much the same, It dose not look too bad, I've been thinking about it but my dad keeps telling me not to put one on and says ill look like those stupid Hondas with the big wings. lol
And here I was thinking about getting him one too for his 70 Cuda, lol

The problem with installing it is everyone that knows Mopars will think you don't . You would be better off installing a spoiler that was never available from Mopar. Then it just looks modified. I have seen some cool cars with grafted lip spoilers etc...

E Bodies just look awesome with all the in your face factory options .

It's not my car unfortunately just a picture I saved when I had Valiant coupe.

The problem with Mopar guys is some of them can't get over the "NOT FACTORY" mindset. They will dump on you for having a "NOT COOL" '74 Dart or a four door whatever or the wrong scoop or whatever so just ignore 'em and do whatever you want. I also have a '70 Challenger and know from experience that the E-body guys are the worst.

Not all Mopar guys are like that but some of them really try to take the fun out of old cars. One of the reasons I like the hot rod scene better.

Sounded like the OP was asking for an opinion and he got one.

My Barracuda is not exactly factory correct ... but I think there are certain things that look good on one car but not another. Someone posted a pic of a 70 Dart with a shaker hood. I thought it looked awesome !

Ever wonder why you don't see many 70 B-bodies with sport mirrors or Go-Wings even though they were available ?

Don't get me wrong I like period correct stuff to but I figured someone had to of done this before and after seeing it to me it dose not look half bad, I would probably move the spoiler inward just a tad but I like it. And that should be considered too when it comes to someones car. If they like it cool in the end its there car.

I will one day inherit my dads Cuda which will be a nicely done restoration and period correct. But my Valiant is a just a fun driver with some performance mods, original 1973 paint that's shot but still looks good from afar. And if it comes to the point where I don't like it and decide to paint my Valiant, well all I have to do is fill in 4 holes or use the spare trunk I have and presto no spoiler.

I like all the go wings gullwings on all the cars I have them on all my cars and 1 is A factory j81 option people. Needs to worried about there cars and not worried about what everyone else what do they think. Hey if we go that far let's worried about every one's wife's and girlfriend s built your car the way you want it not like everyone else wants it you will not make everyone happy just make you happy

Your Dad is a wise man, listen up, he has some insight.

My Dad wouldn’t wouldn’t say ‘I told you so’, but he had that look in his eyes. Comprende Amigo?
Man, I hated that look!

Bottom line, your car, do as you wish. Screw everyone else.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead. I have a 2dr ‘68 and someone locally is selling a rear wing identical to that which keeps tempting me. In my head it would look even better with the bumpers shaved a bit on the inner lip and remounted to sit flush with the body shape. I have a spare front and rear, could be a fun thing to try.

Would love to know what/where the front duck bill came from, reminds me of what was fitted to a mk1 Golf (Rabbit) GTI

I have oneomn my Dudge Dirt I measured where the stripw ill go and drilled the holes relative to that oh and ya need the right lid with the brackets etc. if its a Scamp :)

I think this time, your Dad is on the money. But it's your car.

I've always wanted to put a duck-tail type spoiler on a non-sport A-body, just to see how much water I could collect in the bowl that forms between the quarter ridges and back window.

Kinda like the bird bath hoods on the trucks.

Yea.. Spoilers are cool, this guy really likes giving it the wood. He installed the Home Depot ground effects kit

It's yours. Do what you wanna do, not what others want you to do.

We made and E body hood for my son's 65. And I put the dual snorkel on my Shelby Dakota.
Other son picked up a $100 fiberglass hood/scoop for his Sport. I'm not a fan of it, but it's his car to do what he wants it to look like.

I know... not spoilers, but you get the point.
