has a eight converter flashes at about 5200
83/4 witha 489 case going to change it to410

would this b anything to put on street and would it run on pump gas?

help!!!

The duration would be mice to lnow. the more duration it has the morw itll bleed down some of that ratio. comsidering the build and conver spec., Id bet the duration is large eniff that It is pump gas-able and streetable has to a lot with what you think or can put up with.

I'd drive the street with it. My current 360 is a eselbrock headed, 11-1 ratio that runs on 93 octane w/ 4.10's and a 4spd. The cams duration is 248*'s @ .050.

run a large trans cooler as that convertor will be slipping all day.

IDK about the converter since a lot has do with how it was built and built for what? Drag only? Street strip? And by whom? I do know a couple of guys that drive with a conver like what you listed. But there not drag cars. There converters are custom built for there exact set up in there exact car.

Many things must be known before a converter is built and the more you know, the better the result.

I'd drive that car any day with that set up.

A good cooler for the trans is never a bad idea.
