Non magnum. I know that much. Gentleman at the dealer says they didn't have magnums till 92

Yes, not a magnum. We are building a 91 360 for my son's 71 Valiant 4 door. It is the last year before magnum. Great motor. Hydraulic roller cam and you can bolt any "LA" intake/exhaust parts on it. Let me know if you need an intake....

Nice truck. It looks like you also have the 8 foot box instead of the standard 6 1/2 foot box. Asa should only be allowed to ride in the box because of his :fart:.

Definately change the oil immediately and get the oil level correct. Then the timing chain is a good idea, I like the Edelbrock true roller double rollers available at Mancini Racing. If you use the double roller, you should not use the timing chain tensioner that may be on the engine from the factory, the tensioner is not made to be used with the double roller.

I hope it runs well for you. If not, we can always rebuild the engine (Catoosa Cookout 2013)... We have the technology....

In this case, it would be Colorado cookout...

What intake do you have and how much?

The oil is fresh, there's just too much. I will certainly get it done though. I'm open to any and all advise at this point

I got a big collection of dual plane intakes. I can pick one out that will run well, just gotta make sure it has bosses for the coil mounting.

I intend to mount the coil on the fender well to avoid an overheating scenario with it.

What are you talking about?

a little slow this morning Chuck ? lmao

if karl doesnt get you set up....

i will be pulling the 360 out my charger in a month or two. make you a good deal if need be.

How good a deal you talkin?

lets just say that for what i have in it, 400 would be a screamin' deal. i plan on selling it for a minimum of 800 if you dont need it.
the catch is you would have to come get it. but we are reasonably close

its going to be a little while, we basically get the same weather :D so you know what the conditions are at my house. plus i need to get the 440 done. you will get first crack at it when its out. great engine, oil pressure is at 70 psi cold and 35 at 190* .

X10!!! I want a good set of caps and rings or aluminum wheels. As for the trailer, that was the idea of getting the truck

I'm gonna change the sending unit as I don't have enough money for a decent gauge right now and see what happens

You need a Oil Gauge? I can look through my stuff and send you one.

I know very well lol

The truck has a factory gauge. So I'm gonna try sending unit first and go from there. I sure do appreciate it though

I haven't turned it down yet. I just figure if the sending unit is going bad, I can just swap them out and be good to go. IF this doesn't fix it, I will let you know.

Something that gets overlooked is idle speed. If when you pull up to a stop and the light flickers it could be as simple as increasing your idle speed by 100 rpm. Does it seem to idle real low in gear or not in gear for that matter?

I didn't think to look at the tach at an idle....:banghead:
