Got me a sweet Fiat.

Very nice. I so wanted one of those but my kids are a bit older and needed a little more rear seat room since it is the wife's daily driver. Wound up with a Charger R/T Road and Track edition. Not as much power as the SRT but still enough to leave evidence of "excessive acceleration".

My wife has the 11 Charger RT. It is a great car. No problems in 50k miles and it fits kids good too.

I hear you but I paid 40k not 65 base for the mustang. There's always something better I did my homework and this was a splurge but works for me right now. Abodyjoe will show up soon and say its a fat pig ha

HA! just noticed this. personally yes i think its a fat pig, slow and not near as good looking as the others ,especially the mustang but i'm not paying for it. its your car and you really shouldn't care what others think unless they are paying the bill..:)

watch for wheel hop on the 6 speed. not sure if they corrected that issue from the earlier cars..

as far as blind spots go. they are not an issue with properly adjusted mirrors and even the addition of blind spot mirrors if it doesn't yet come standard with them yet.

i drove a 6 speed srt chally from jersey to south carolina (13 hours) for friend a couple years ago.. it makes a good touring car. i got almost 25mpg out of it. cruised very nicely and had plenty of power when i wanted it. stopped on a dime too and handles nice too..

hopefully you have better chrysler service dealers in your area. because the guys around here suck and are a bunch of crooks.

It really still is...the new stuff is for us old/lazy/uninterested/no time/no money/what ever word you want ....that doesn't want to get involved with the muscle but want to look it... but it is the story of the emperors new clothes fable... and the way society is going...

when the old muscle cars ruled wasn't no obsession with 50 year old cars

I went Challenger. It's more muscely than a pony car. Got lot's of room. At least in the front. Had the stripes removed and redone in flat.

Yeah, prices have made entry level more expensive....but support for these cars is much better than it was in the '70s.. Other than oil changes and very basic maintenance, I have done nothing to my '07 mustang gt..

i don't know about that. i'm sure that is true for a certain segment of the modern muscle owners, but there is a bunch of guys buying modern muscle and modifying the hell out of them. just youtube the modern cars and you'll see. biggest difference between the old stuff when new and the modern stuff is that they do everything better (faster, stops better, corners better, better mpg and more reliable)while also being comfortable. hell they are coming off the showroom floor running in the 12's. something ya had to work at with old muscle when it was new..lol

hell they are even racing srt jeeps..lol

Joe,

Not seeing any of the above where I live. I think we are too small and the economy just suxs. And drag, even though we have a few places, hasn't been a big thing either. Our cars and parts are significantly more expensive here..

Due to the prices of these cars..*especially* the chally, you have to be well healed and that means older and more established.. I think the '05 mustang kindled a resurgence with *muscle cars*... and with the ferd/chev/dodge group..the only cars I see gussied up are the 'stangs because the entry cost can be quite low and these a a ton of companies offering aftermarket stuff..

But if you want the true musclecar experience, you really need to buy a car of that era..

ian.

Isn't it..must be 2wd...actually, all the vids were pretty cool..

once they hit a certain point they convert them to 2wd.

the AWD ones really move too...

Mustangs and Camaros don't look near as tough as the new Challenger. I mean look at that orange RT and tell me what's not to like.

Love new challenger. I am waiting till they change the body style and put it on a diet for the 2016 model.

Love new challenger. I am waiting till they change the body style and put it on a diet for the 2016 model.

The diet is coming in 2015 along with new front and rear facia's and new interiors. The "diet" is via different front and rear suspensions with the use of more aluminum and extensive chassis modification, technology that fiat is known for that will help lighten the car and as an added bonus will allow for the addition of the new 8 speed automatic transmission. The all new large car is still years away probably in 2017 or so. None of this information is just my speculation but readily available on the internet.
