with all the thefts of our classic cars we read about does anyone here use a gps tracker of can the thiefs find them easily and disarm them. any info on these good or bad would be very useful . thanks .
 
I used a Lojack like service years ago as it lowered my insurance costs to the point where it paid for itself. It was professionally installed. All hush hush...I wasn't even allowed to know how and where they installed it.

I discontinued the service the following year as it kept killing my battery. It drew too much power when car was parked during the week. The unit is still somewhere on my car (I had to pull my battery during winter storage to make sure I killed the backup power source). In 9 years I have never found it and I have looked every where. I guess a real professional might know where to look but I think just the sticker on the door kept away the average thief. I kept the sticker......much cheaper than the service! :)
