After just about going insane trying to find wheels to fit and readings tons of posts of what fits what I came across a calculator that lets you compare wheel size and offset and compare different tires sizes also.
So since I have a stock 14x6 rim with 4" backspace I wanted to know the offset for comparison of potential new wheels.
Here is how you do that:
Offset =(backspace - width divided by 2)
So 4" backspace - 3" = 1" offset or 25.3mm
Well there seems to be issues when I put that # into the wheel calculator, it made the backspacing show 4.5" so it must not calculate the wheel lip so I adjusted it to 12mm offset and got the 4" backspace that my wheel has.
Long post I know but here is the link that will probably answer a lot of wheel / tire questions.
