I have seen way worse. He is obviously very proud of it and way too close to it to see its fault (of which there are many). I applaud his ingenuity and enthusiasm but that car isn't work $40K by any stretch. As stated, taste is a subjective thing which makes selling things like this very hard, its his pride and joy but to someone else its less than desirable.

Probably trying to "get his money back". I can see a lot of expensive parts on that car. But nobody is going to pay that asking price!
