I am looking for some GT trim for my 69. (I know) The trim that runs along the doors - above the door handles, and front fenders terminating in a point the curves over the front of fender. Two polished areas with black in between. I have the rear trim. New project. These are the only 4 pieces missing from the car.
LMK if you can help. oh yeah, I may be new, but not newly born, have read the scam alerts, am a Chef by trade so very unpleasant to deal with if you are a scammer - or a miserable customer. Thanks!

Get some photos from the net of what you want

Many people have parts stashes and don't know what they have.

The piece in the picture is from the quarter panel. I think this style is 69 only...??

Top one GT, bottom one Custom, those GT 's are hard to come by.

No, location is tough! Not much of a Dart GT culture where i am...I do have a U.S. address though. The photo of the burnt orange GT is the type I'm looking for. Thank for the pics Mopar Momzee

Well that's a long way from Cloverdale! I would be willing to pay for pickup by a shipper and compensate you for packaging - though I realize that doesn't fit well into "pick-up only".
These are the only pieces of trim missing from this car so I'll definitly go the extra mile but 2900 extra miles would take some time!
Your thoughts?

Send the seller a premade box with proper packaging and return postage

Seller places parts in box and drops off or calls for a pickup.

Sounds like an easy fool proof way to go - and I have the prfect box already...I'll check with seller. Thank you for chiming in.

I’ve got a set and a half minus one of the front spears that I would give you, but pick up only.
Hey Canucklehead...would you be open to Dana67Darts suggestion? I'll send you a pre made box. Prepaid for return shipping and some extra $$$ for you generosity and time and the parts - not looking for free anything in this life. We can send it to my sister in Cloverdale...we can figure it out from there. LMK...Thank you.

Make sure the box is rigid, plastic drain tubing works well.

I had a guy from CA ship me some 67 dart rocker trim. He strapped it to a 1x4 and padded the heck out of the outside.

When the US PO delivered it there was a 30deg bend in the board and trim 2 feet from one end. Like someone set it between two boxes and jumped on it.

IMHO someone had to purposefully do it.

Other of the same was shipped inside 4" PVC drain line and was perfect on delivery.

Recently I bought some parts from a Fabo member and my daughter picked them up.

Made up a box and shipped it to her.
In the box is a gauge cluster a radio a heater control and a radio bezel.

Before she shipped it back!

Sorry, I was being sarcastic because I had no idea where you lived, I’m never anywhere close to anybody who needs stuff. I’ll get you some pictures first. I believe on some of it somebody put masking tape that glued itself to the anodized part which should dissolve with the right cleaner.

That will work well. We have a guy not too far away that works with chrome/SS or aluminum trim. How would you like me to go about this? I can give you my sister's address. I can give your address to her...we're not weirdos by-the-way! I know you don't know me but all is cool. www.bistro54.ca that's me and my wife - Dave and Nicky. My sister is the treasurer of the BC paramedic and firefighters union . Let me know how to proceed. If we ship to her, then her and I will work out how to get it all here. It's awesome you have all this...let me know $$ to compensate for all the effort. ...cheers!

Im thinking a piece of 4” PVC might do maybe. I jotted down your email because they’ll delete it. I also have a set of inside door emblems, I had 2 sets but I sold one set last summer. I let the guy pick the best set so the leftovers are what I have, but they are at my sisters in Edmonton.

I ship quite a bit. I use 3-4" drainage pipe for most trim. Bigger items ,like dashpads for example, I use 6-12" concrete tubes. Some shippers, UPS for example, have added huge fees for tubes. In that case I simply make a box for the tube. Hope this helps.

USPS has a upcharge for non rectangular packaging yet they have a triangular box they give away, go figure!

as silly as it seems overwrapping a tube with cardboard to make it rectangular is the way to go.
