Sounds kinda like mine years ago when I tried a 1/4 mile pass but mine was out of guts at 1000 foot. But it still ran 6.0’s for another 1.5 years. That engine will be getting redone hopefully over the winter with more head work on the Indy heads and if I get rich a roller cam and new pistons.

I was thinking higher converter slip and/or less rpm would limit your speed more...but my vote is cast. Let us know how you do!
