Me too, I want some numbers to have for gear and converter choice.Don’t care. I just want to see video of a pass at the track and a picture of the ET slip.
Ya know that's a good idea. I'll have to get my other carb ready to do that.610hp @ 6200
570tq @ 4600
are you going to test a different carb on it, curious if the annular boosters help the low rpm tq vs a downleg or something...
Don’t care. I just want to see video of a pass at the track and a picture of the ET slip.
Blame the driver is what I'd doAnd what do you do when the dyno numbers and the time slip don’t match?
Not enough, never enough and if it is enough now, it won’t be enough tomorrow! Well, that’s how I am at least. LMAOI have my 470 on the Dyno.
3.915 stroke
4.375 bore.
11.4:1 compression.
Howard's solid flat tappet 260-264 @.050 .656-.660 on 108 lsa 104 icl
Trickflow 240s with 1.6 Harland sharp rockers.
Trickflow track heat intake (4150)
Blp 850 with 16 hole annular boosters.
Msd pro-billet distributor & 6al-2
Testing with my 2 inch fenderwell headers &
Pan evac system.
I should get some pulls on it tommorow.
And what do you do when the dyno numbers and the time slip don’t match?
Thanks, No thermoquads. Not enough, never enough and if it is enough now, it won’t be enough tomorrow! Well, that’s how I am at least. LMAO
Your engine looks pretty cool. Best of luck, happy HP hunting!
Looking forward to the results.
OH! Are you going to try a TQ?
And what do you do when the dyno numbers and the time slip don’t match?
I really don't wanna push it past 7000, since It took me over 3 years to afford all of this I want to atleast "try" to make it last. With 260 @050 on 470 inches with decent heads it should run out pretty good. How far are you comfortable spinning it? It should peak above 6000 and I’ll say it should make more than 600.
Well it's for race only. I hope you're not right lol.610 TQ at 4,400 rpm
570 HP at 5,600 rpm
I think your HP curve peak will be limited by that small carb. But it will also make the car much more drivable at lower rpm, if this is for a street car.

I’m the wrong guy to ask that. I’ve seen so many manufactured high horsepower magazine dyno builds that would never be able to prove it on the track.
That wouldn't be the same guy tuning, would it?It depends on if the dyno operator lies or not.
No he's the nice personality lolThat wouldn't be the same guy tuning, would it?
I heard he can be a prick too.
My mistake, I thought it was an 850 CFM carb. Well then I'll adjust my total HP guess up toWell it's for race only. I hope you're not right lol.
The blp 850 is supposed to flow over 1000cfm but that was with downleg boosters
I'll let Tim answer that. lolNo he's the nice personality lol
